Western Sydney Community Forum works with a large range of issues within the 14 Local Government Areas of Greater Western Sydney.
This section contains details of events that we organise and projects and collaborations that we are involved in that are current.
WSCF Projects and Events:
Community Sector CARE Campaign
The CARE campaign is a long-term strategy to improve working conditions in the community sector; seeking parity in wages with our government partners doing similar work.
WSCF is working with the Australian Services Union (ASU) and many other community organisations in developing CARE committees to support and publicise the strategy.
The first meeting was held on Monday 21 July at 3pm at WSCF. Dates for the following three meetings are 18 August, 15 September and 20 October. Please contact Mary Waterford from WSCF on 9687-5812 for further information.

Climate Change Program
Western Sydney Community Forum and the University of Western Sydney would like to invite NGO workers to an event to be held at Parramatta on Monday 15 September 2008 to find out what Climate Change is all about, and how this is going to affect all aspects of our lives.
