WSCF Programs

WSCF consists of two programs, the Learning and Development program and the Regional Resource Program.

The Regional Resource program

  • Supports and resources collaboration between local groups and networks
  • Responds to current and emerging issues and needs of the region
  • Facilitates community participation and representation in planning and decision making processes
  • Supports the development of services that better meet the needs of marginalised and disadvantaged people and communities

The Learning and Development Program

The core services delivered centre around information, free learning and development opportunities, resources, and referral to the staff and Management Committees of non-government organisations in western Sydney. The program receives core funding from DoCS (CSGP) and DADHC (HACC).

The Cumberland/Prospect Network Development Program

The Cumberland Prospect Network Development Project commenced in March 2007 and will service the local government areas of Auburn, Parramatta, Holroyd, Blacktown and Baulkham Hills.  The main aim of the Project is to foster relationships and enhance service provision for families and children (0-8) in the Cumberland Prospect region.
