The South West Sydney Homelessness Sector Facilitation Project works towards integrating Metro South West Support Accomodation Assistance Program (SAAP) services with non SAAP services to collaboratively plan and deliver services to the population of South West Sydney. The project also supports Metro South West services in setting directions in addressing and reducing homelessness in accordance with the National Homelessness Action Plan.

 

Affordable Housing Need and Policy Responses for Western Sydney

The Affordable Housing Need and Policy Response for Western Forum (click here for program), which was held at the Jubilee Hall in Parramatta on 16th November, 2011, was attended by more than 70 people. Presenters covered a broad range of topics including:

After the presentations, the audience divided into small group workshops to identify the issues preventing access to affordable housing in Western Sydney and how they felt the Western Sydney Housing Coalition should respond to them. The feedback can be viewed here.

 

Learn to Listen Forum - Western Sydney Housing Coalition

The Learn to Listen Forum, held at WSCF on 5th April, 2011, attracted more than 40 attendees. Presenters covered a broad range of topics including:
